The Slicks is a group of enthusiasts of Ford Trucks. We live and breathe our "slicks" as they are often referred to. We tend to share a common affliction, in that we gather too many of these trucks, parts, or stop and take pictures of them when travleing.
If you find yourself looking for them on long drives or realizing that you can identify a dash, trim, or tailight piece from 50 yars you too have "Slickitis".
This particular gathering of truck owners is from the Eugene/Springfield and outlying areas of Oregon. We are putting this group together so we have a common place to look to know when to gather and shoot the breeze. We plan to hold some regular get togethers, come if you have the time and are in the area. Expect some barbbeques and probably more than one weekend working on a fellow member's truck build, since we can all use an extra hand.
We would love to meet as many of you out there as want to stop by. Even if you aren't local, there should be some good articles and build help. Catch the forum on http://fordtruk.com/forums/index.php (we didn't start this and will not replace the great site, but that is how many of us met) and look for the MySpace profile The Slicks.
